Elaine Hannon became interested in Family History Research at a very early age due to her family’s quest in trying to trace a relative in the USA. Following this research, Elaine decided to study Family History Research/Genealogy. After completing her study’s she knew then that this was her vocation, to assist people in tracing their ancestors and long lost relatives for the whole Ireland. Elaine did successfully trace and connect with her missing relative’s in Pennsylvania, USA.

Elaine has run a successful business in Genealogy (Elaine Hannon Genealogy) since 2011, providing Family History research (Genealogy) services to clients all around the world. Her expertise is in Family History Research for the whole of Ireland, and tracing and connecting living family/relatives.

Elaine was born in Dublin, Ireland and now lives in Enfield, County Meath.

Elaine obtained a Diploma in Family History Research (Genealogy), ICM Professional Development Award. This course was run through the Independent College of Dublin in Spring 2011. The Diploma course is delivered in conjunction with Accredited Genealogists Ireland (AGI).

Elaine is a member of the Irish Genealogical Research Society of Ireland (IGRS) and the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) in the United States.

Elaine is one of a team of consultants in the Genealogy Advisory Service at the National Library of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin.

Elaine is a listed Researcher with the National Archives of Ireland and the National Library of Ireland.
